This month, Melbourne Anonymous is back with a vengeance.

We will be meeting up at the usual place - Flinders Street Station Steps at 12 (Midday).
After Flinders Street Station we will be proceeding onto the Bourke Street Mall, and then to outside the Church of Scientology for the epic lulz, speeches, and all around good times of protesting the insidious cult of Scientology.

If you have any questions at the protest, speak to either SirAnon, Kenji or Nex. Other designated event marshals will be announced soon.

THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT PROTEST - Scientology had to appear infront of the senate two weeks ago week to try to prove they should RETAIN their Tax Exempt Status.
They must pass a Public Benefits Test to prove they do good for the community and shouldn't pay taxes..
MELBOURNE ANONYMOUS and ANTI-SCIENTOLOGY PROTESTERS alike must get together to show the government, the media, and the public that Scientology does NOT deserve a tax exempt status and should NOT retain it.

Melbourne Anonymous is meeting once again to protest the abhorrent human rights abuses by the Church of Scientology and to educate the public.

Scientology has been convicted of fraud in France
Is currently under investigation to see if they should retain their tax exempt status. Let's make sure they don't keep it! (see: Public Benefits Test)

June 19th - Bringing Down The House
Hello everyone,
After the massive success of our last major protest where we got roughly 60-70 anons attending, ended up getting interviewed by synfm, having the protest covered by indymedia and other news outlets, Melbourne Anonymous will be throwing down the gauntlet and upping the ante with our next massive event.

On June 19th, the stakes will be raised; we'll be hitting the streets once more with surprises up our sleeves which will knock the socks off not only you, the protester, but the public and the churchcult of scientology.

EVENT INFORMATION:
  • MEETING AT: Flinders Street Station Steps at 12.30pm (Saturday 19th June)

  • PROTEST BEGINS: at either 12.30 or 1pm depending on arrival time of people (etc)

  • MOVE ONTO: Bourke Street Mall

  • MOVE ONTO: State Library (for lunch break of 30 minutes)

  • MOVE ONTO: Church of Scientology - Russell Street/Flinders Lane.




  • We will be handing out fliers, having music, getting petitions signed. talking to the public.

  • AWESOME MUSIC will be played throughout!

  • There will be speeches at the org, as well as music and dancing!

  • It will be fun, there will be laughs to be had. Mix of serious business and lulz.

Greetings Melbourne Anonymous,
This month Melbanon is planning one of the biggest and best protests against Scientology in Australia since the early days of Project Chanology.

Since November, Melbanon has been quickly gaining momentum in growth and effect and gaining notoriety amongst the other anon groups around the world.

In April, Scientology Melbourne once more showed their true colors by assaulting one of our peaceful protesters, resulting in a very sore protester with a black eye, broken glasses and broken camera. (see this thread for more info: WWP: ASSAULTED: Melbourne Scientologist Attacks Protester)

There have been numerous threats given to Anonymous members by Scientology in the past few months, but this unprovoked attack was unexpected.
A few days ago, a similar incident took place where our very own Mr. H, was almost assaulted by a Scientologist, thankfully Mr. H's quick reaction allowed for him to block the punch thrown by the Scientologist.

For every Anon who is hurt protesting, two more anons take their place. We are not scared by such attacks, it simply motivates us and gives us more faith in our cause.

Our next protest will be taking place on the 15th of May, and is set to be one of the best protests we've organised in a hell of a long time.

The interest is massive, and the public support is extraordinary.
